Role:

This full-time position entails teaching assignments in the IB Diploma Program, encompassing Grade 11 and 12 classes in Economics. Depending on expertise and school requirements, additional responsibilities may include teaching Business Management or Theory of Knowledge. The teacher will also mentor a student group in our Homeroom advisory program, fostering a supportive residential-school environment.

Qualifications & Experiences:

Required Qualifications:

• Secondary license or certification in Economics, Business Management, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Management, or relevant field
• Minimum three years of full-time classroom experience teaching Economics and/or Business Management in an accredited school
• International Baccalaureate experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Masters, PGCE, or equivalent)
• IBDP Economics and/or Business Management training
• Recent professional development in teaching and learning

Preferred Experience:

• Successful teaching experience in DP Economics, Business Management, and/or Theory of Knowledge
• Commitment to collaborative structures and data-driven instructional decisions
• Proficiency in leveraging technology for enhanced student learning
