This school is based in Amman, Jordan and is looking for a Jordan Physics Teacher.

Overview:

Al Ra’ed Al Arabi School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Jordan History Teacher to join our team. The Jordan History Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging history lessons that focus on the rich historical heritage and cultural significance of Jordan.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Jordan history curriculum that highlights the country’s historical events, cultural traditions, and societal developments.
• Create engaging and interactive history lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and interests of students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student understanding and appreciation of Jordan’s history.
• Foster critical thinking skills by encouraging students to analyze primary and secondary sources, examine historical evidence, and evaluate different perspectives.
• Facilitate discussions and activities that promote a deeper understanding of Jordan’s historical significance and its connections to broader global contexts.
• Organize field trips, guest lectures, and other experiential learning opportunities to enrich students’ understanding of Jordanian history and culture.
• Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support student growth and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Jordanian history into interdisciplinary units and projects that promote cross-curricular connections.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay informed about current trends and best practices in history education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Teaching certification or qualification in History or Social Studies Education.
• Previous experience teaching history at the middle or high school level.
• In-depth knowledge of Jordanian history, culture, and heritage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore the rich history of Jordan.
