Role: High School Biology Teacher

As an HS Biology Teacher, you will:

• Plan, deliver, and assess an engaging biology curriculum aligned with the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and AISK’s academic standards.
• Foster a student-centered learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and scientific exploration.
• Use modern teaching strategies and technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop interdisciplinary connections.
• Guide students in research, lab experiments, and scientific analysis to deepen their understanding of biological concepts.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide regular progress updates to parents and school administration.
• Support extracurricular science-related activities such as clubs, fairs, and academic competitions.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in science education.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field
• Valid teaching licensure or certification
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
• Experience with the IB Diploma Programme (DP) required for DP courses
• Strong classroom management skills
• International teaching experience preferred
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment
• Passion for fostering student curiosity and scientific inquiry
