Role: Art Teacher
Mamoura British Academy seeks an Art Teacher who can deliver engaging, innovative, and hands-on art lessons while fostering creativity and self-expression. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire students and create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach art and design to primary and secondary students using the English National Curriculum
- Design interactive and project-based lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic exploration
- Incorporate a variety of artistic techniques, digital media, and traditional art forms
- Organize student art exhibitions, competitions, and collaborative projects
- Provide constructive feedback and personalized guidance to help students develop their artistic abilities
- Work closely with other educators to integrate art into cross-curricular projects
- Stay updated with contemporary art trends and digital art techniques to enhance lesson plans
- Participate in professional development programs to refine teaching skills and methodologies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in the English National Curriculum
- Strong knowledge of various art techniques, including painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media
- Passion for art education, student creativity, and interdisciplinary learning
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching
