About the Role: Pre-Prep Class Teacher & Head of Year One

We are seeking an experienced Year One Teacher who will also take on the role of Head of Year One. This leadership position requires a dedicated educator who can support student learning, guide teachers, and enhance the KS1 curriculum to ensure students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
• Lead and support Year One teachers, ensuring consistency in teaching methods and student outcomes.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing personalized support and enrichment.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and school leadership to enhance student development.
• Implement best practices in early primary education, incorporating play-based and inquiry-led learning approaches.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Year One students and leading teams in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum frameworks and best teaching practices.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to motivate and mentor teachers within the Pre-Prep department.
