About Western International School

Founded in 2003, Western International School has become one of Cambodia’s most recognized and respected educational institutions. Starting with just 262 students and a single campus, WIS now educates over 7,500 students across 16 campuses in Phnom Penh, Takhmao, and Sihanoukville, offering classes from Nursery to Grade 12.

Our campuses include modern libraries stocked with a wide variety of books to support reading and research. We also offer well-equipped science laboratories, allowing students to engage in hands-on learning. With full-time assistants supporting both teachers and students, our labs promote independent thinking and practical application of scientific knowledge.

Role: English Teacher

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in the secondary grade levels. You will create a classroom environment that encourages language development, critical thinking, and a love for literature. Collaboration with colleagues and involvement in school events will be an integral part of your role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Education, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TESOL/TEFL for ESL)
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching English or ESL in a school setting
• Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
• Ability to design interactive and inclusive lesson plans
• Dedication to student achievement and holistic development
