Established in 1990, Buah Hati & Cita Hati Schools is a respected Christian National Plus school in Indonesia that offers preschool through Grade 12 education. We operate across three campuses—East and West Surabaya, and Samarinda.
As an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we offer the IB Diploma Programme and, since 2010, have delivered the Cambridge International curriculum from primary to upper secondary levels. Position: Physics Teacher (Junior–Senior School)
We seek a dynamic educator who can:
- Teach Physics at middle and high school levels following the IB and Cambridge frameworks
- Foster critical thinking and scientific inquiry in the classroom
- Encourage students to connect Physics concepts to real-world applications
- Create engaging lab activities and maintain a safe, hands-on learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers to enrich the academic program
- Model Christian values through teaching and personal conduct
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching credential (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of classroom experience teaching Physics
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Passion for faith-based education in a multicultural, international school setting
