Founded in 2003 by a group of visionary Indonesian parents, Cahaya Bangsa Classical School has grown into a respected PreK–12 Christian classical school located on the serene outskirts of Bandung, West Java. Our 3-hectare campus supports a vibrant educational community of over 860 students across four academic divisions: Early Childhood (PS–K), Grammar School (Grades 1–6), School of Logic (Grades 7–9), and School of Rhetoric (Grades 10–12).
CBCS follows a dual-language curriculum, with approximately 80% of instruction delivered in English. International best practices guide our teaching methods, and we incorporate American-imported curricula across subjects. Our faculty includes both expatriate and nationally recruited English-speaking teachers. All instruction in Indonesian Language and Civics adheres to national standards and is led by certified Indonesian educators.
CBCS holds full accreditation from the Ministry of Education of Indonesia, is registered as an SPK (international-style) school, and is dually accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
