Role: Lower Primary Science Teacher
As a Lower Primary Science Teacher, you will:
- Design and deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons aligned with international curriculum standards
- Foster a love for science by guiding students through age-appropriate investigations and discovery-based learning
- Encourage critical thinking and observation skills through experiments, discussions, and inquiry
- Collaborate with other primary teachers to integrate science across subjects such as math, literacy, and the arts
- Track student progress through formative and summative assessments, offering timely and constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment that supports each student’s academic and personal development
- Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about their child’s learning journey
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching science at the primary level, ideally in an international or bilingual school setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood science pedagogy and inquiry-based learning
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for working with young children in a diverse, multicultural environment
- High level of fluency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teaching
