Role: Primary English Teacher
As a Primary English Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging English language lessons, nurture students’ literacy skills, and promote effective communication across all levels of proficiency. Your role will contribute significantly to the academic and personal development of students in a supportive, student-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach age-appropriate English language lessons based on curriculum standards
- Promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in line with Cambridge and national benchmarks
- Use diverse teaching strategies and classroom technologies to enhance student engagement
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and school leadership
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and school-wide initiatives
- Contribute to co-curricular programs, school events, and character-building activities
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- 2 to 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with IGCSE or international curricula
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Passion for student development, creativity, and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and blended learning approaches
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse school setting
