About the Role
The Early Years & Primary Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Primary Key Stages 1 and 2. The ideal candidate will foster a joyful learning environment, support student well-being, and guide children through key developmental milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Early Years and/or Primary students following the British curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Assess and report on student progress using both formative and summative methods
- Communicate effectively with parents, supporting student development at home and school
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote consistency and best practices across year groups
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular and enrichment programmes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practice
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area
- Teaching certification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent
- Experience teaching Early Years and/or Primary (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Deep knowledge of EYFS and National Curriculum for England standards
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English with excellent communication abilities
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to curriculum development and pastoral care
- Comfort with educational technologies to support learning and assessment
