Role Overview: Secondary Computer Science Teacher (IBDP)
In this role, you will plan, deliver, and assess a rigorous Computer Science curriculum for secondary students. You will support students’ development of computational thinking, programming skills, and digital literacy. Collaboration with colleagues, use of educational technology, and a passion for inquiry-based teaching will be key to your success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an IBDP context
- Expertise in secondary-level Computer Science curriculum and assessment
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Commitment to professional development and curriculum innovation
- Ability to integrate technology meaningfully into teaching and learning
- Motivation to work in a multicultural and collaborative international environment
