Role Overview: Grade 7 Science Teacher

The Grade 7 Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) or similar frameworks. The teacher will promote scientific thinking, inquiry-based learning, and practical experimentation. In this role, you will build a strong classroom culture, differentiate instruction for diverse learners, and collaborate closely with colleagues across the middle school team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science Education or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least one year of relevant teaching experience
• Strong command of middle school science content and pedagogy
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• High level of spoken and written English proficiency
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to school-wide initiatives
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Skilled in using educational technology to enhance student learning
