Role Overview: Cambridge Year 1 Teacher
As a Cambridge Year 1 Teacher, you will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. Your role includes fostering early literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills while promoting creativity, independence, and curiosity in a nurturing classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or international certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Experience teaching the Cambridge Primary Curriculum
- Strong subject knowledge and lesson planning skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities
- A passion for working in a diverse, multicultural school community
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous professional growth
- Ability to integrate educational technology into lessons
- Strong collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues
