Role Overview: Secondary Chemistry Teacher
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic IGCSE Chemistry Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging chemistry lessons, foster a love for science, and guide students toward academic achievement in line with the Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry syllabus. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, conducting laboratory experiments, preparing students for assessments, and contributing to departmental development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching secondary chemistry
- Deep knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about teaching
- Ability to integrate technology into science education
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration in an international school setting
