Role Overview
As an English Language Arts Teacher, you will inspire young learners to develop strong literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills. You will create engaging lessons that encourage creativity and foster a lifelong love for reading and writing. This role requires a teacher who can design interactive learning experiences, support bilingual learners, and contribute to the school’s holistic and innovative curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic and engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with school curriculum goals.
- Foster literacy development through reading, writing, and speaking activities.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs in a bilingual environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular and inquiry-based projects.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum three years of relevant teaching experience.
- Experience with international or bilingual curricula preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
