Role Overview
The Middle & High School Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver engaging math lessons that build conceptual understanding and practical application. The ideal candidate will promote problem-solving, logical reasoning, and creativity while integrating technology to enhance learning. This role requires collaboration with colleagues to align curriculum goals and contribute to the school’s culture of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics to middle and high school students following international standards
- Develop and deliver lessons that build understanding of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and applied mathematics
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through interactive instruction
- Integrate technology tools and digital resources into the classroom
- Monitor student progress and provide personalized feedback
- Participate in curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Contribute to extracurricular programs, competitions, and enrichment activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level
- Familiarity with international curricula such as IGCSE or Cambridge programs
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and pedagogy
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional development and teamwork
- Enthusiasm for teaching in a multicultural, international school setting
