Role Overview

The Early Years Homeroom Teacher will guide students through key areas of early childhood development, including literacy, numeracy, creativity, social skills, and emotional well-being. The teacher will plan engaging lessons aligned with international early learning standards and foster a classroom environment that supports active participation, independence, and joy in learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach early years curriculum through structured and play-based activities
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes exploration and confidence
• Track student growth using assessments and individualized feedback
• Partner with parents through consistent communication and collaborative involvement
• Contribute to schoolwide programs, events, and professional learning initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in early years or a similar teaching role
• Understanding of international curricula and developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Proactive, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• High level of English proficiency, both spoken and written
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
