Role: Teacher of Art

As an Art Teacher, you will guide students in exploring their creativity, developing technical skills, and appreciating artistic expression. Your role will involve teaching various art techniques, history, and contemporary practices, while fostering a supportive and inspiring classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an engaging and inclusive art curriculum aligned with international education standards.
• Teach drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and other artistic techniques.
• Encourage critical thinking and creativity through various art projects.
• Incorporate Qatari and Islamic cultural influences into lessons, connecting art to local and global perspectives.
• Organize and lead art exhibitions, showcases, and extracurricular activities.
• Provide individualized feedback to help students refine their artistic abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in art education and integrate them into teaching practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience teaching art at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and digital art techniques.
• Passion for fostering creativity and artistic expression in students.
• Ability to create a student-centered, engaging learning environment.
• Commitment to professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
