About Shenzhen International Foundation College
Founded in 2004 by Principal Fu and a group of professors from Shenzhen University, SIFC operates with the approval of the Shenzhen Education Bureau. It is registered with both the Provincial Department of Education and the China Scholarship Council. As one of the first international schools in Shenzhen to implement the AP curriculum, SIFC also offers American high school courses, IGCSE, and A-Level programs. Our mission is to provide a rigorous, globally recognized education that prepares students for top universities around the world.
Role Overview
As a Bilingual Chemistry Teacher, you will deliver engaging and interactive chemistry lessons in both English and Chinese. You will help students master essential chemistry concepts, foster analytical and critical thinking skills, and connect scientific principles to real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach chemistry across AP, IGCSE, and A-Level programs
- Create lesson plans that combine theory with practical laboratory experiments
- Integrate technology to enhance learning outcomes
- Mentor students for academic competitions and university entrance requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese
- Familiarity with international curricula (AP, IGCSE, A-Level)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
