Role: Biology Teacher (IGCSE & IBDP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology across IGCSE and IBDP levels using engaging, student-centered methods
• Create lesson plans that promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Design assessments that reflect course objectives and individual learning goals
• Collaborate with subject colleagues on curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and co-curricular programs
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support academic and personal growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a closely related subject
• Recognised teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in international schools
• Native-level fluency in English
• Solid understanding of the IGCSE and IBDP Biology syllabi
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
• Strong digital literacy and the ability to integrate technology into science instruction
