Role: Biology Teacher
As a Biology Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the wonders of life sciences, develop their analytical skills, and cultivate a passion for scientific discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive biology lessons that meet the British curriculum standards.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of biological concepts, from genetics and evolution to ecology and human physiology.
- Utilize modern teaching methodologies, including laboratory experiments, project-based learning, and technology-driven instruction.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent research to prepare students for higher education and careers in science.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore scientific concepts.
- Contribute to extracurricular science programs, including STEM clubs, science fairs, and environmental initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to maintain high academic standards.
- Uphold the school’s high-performance learning (HPL) philosophy, ensuring that all students reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a British curriculum school.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols, practical experiments, and hands-on learning strategies.
- Passion for science education and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and faculty.
