Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join our science faculty. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity and scientific understanding, encourage practical application, and inspire students to excel in biology. This role includes teaching fundamental and advanced biology topics aligned with the school’s academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive biology lessons that cater to students of varying skill levels and learning styles.
• Teach topics such as cellular biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, and anatomy.
• Utilize modern teaching methods, laboratory experiments, and technology to make lessons interactive and engaging.
• Supervise and guide students in laboratory activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams, and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for academic competitions and external exams as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align biology curriculum with interdisciplinary projects and broader school objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in biology and integrate them into the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Teaching certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in teaching biology at the middle or high school level, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
