Role: Business Studies Teacher
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver high-quality instruction in line with the British curriculum, preparing students for success at iGCSE and A-Level. Your ability to connect theory with real-world business scenarios will help students develop critical thinking, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons based on the British curriculum.
- Prepare students for iGCSE and A-Level Business Studies examinations.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and independent thinking.
- Utilize digital tools and educational technology to enhance lesson delivery.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to develop curriculum resources and improve teaching practices.
- Engage with parents and contribute to school-wide initiatives and events.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification with QTS status.
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in an international or British curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of iGCSE and A-Level exam boards.
- Proven ability to inspire and support students of varying abilities.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in education.
