Position: Senior School Business Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Business Studies lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
• Teach Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level) Business Studies, ensuring strong academic outcomes.
• Foster an entrepreneurial mindset, helping students understand business concepts, financial literacy, and global economic trends.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies, case studies, and real-world business examples to enhance learning.
• Prepare students for exams, coursework, and business-related projects, helping them achieve academic success.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Inspire students to explore business careers, leadership, and innovation through interactive discussions and projects.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities such as business clubs, entrepreneurship competitions, and industry visits.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum materials, share best practices, and promote cross-disciplinary learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing feedback on student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field.
• A valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level, with knowledge of the British curriculum.
• A passion for business, entrepreneurship, and economic education, with the ability to bring real-world insights into the classroom.
• Strong classroom management skills, fostering an environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
