Role: Deputy Head Teacher
The Deputy Head Teacher will support the Head of School in driving academic excellence, staff development, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong instructional leader who can enhance teaching practices, monitor student progress, and uphold high academic standards across the secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support curriculum development and ensure its effective implementation
- Deliver high-quality teaching and mentor staff in best practices
- Lead on student assessment, data analysis, and academic reporting
- Promote a culture of high expectations, innovation, and accountability
- Foster strong communication between staff, students, and parents
- Ensure compliance with international education standards and policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years in a school leadership or senior teaching role
- Demonstrated ability to lead curriculum planning and staff development
- Proven success in classroom teaching and student outcomes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Strong commitment to professional growth and collaborative leadership
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
