This school is based in Abu Dhabi City, United Arab Emirates and is looking for a Media Technology and Design ( Pre-Press Operation, Digital Print, and Finishing) Instructor.

Principal Role: The Media Technology and Design Instructor at Emirates National School will be responsible for teaching courses in pre-press operations, digital print, and finishing. The instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons that align with industry standards, ensuring students gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge in media technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Delivery:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in pre-press operations, digital printing, and finishing.
• Utilize professional electronic publishing, imaging, and pre-press software to design publications, create graphics, and prepare publications for production.
• Teach students to use computer programs for job layout, basic graphic design, and digital printing.

Student Assessment and Support:

• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and support their learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.

Classroom Management:

• Establish a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
• Address and resolve any behavioral issues promptly and effectively.

Professional Development:

• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in media technology and design.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve teaching strategies.

Industry Engagement:

• Maintain connections with the media technology and graphic arts industry to ensure curriculum relevance.
• Organize and participate in industry-related events, workshops, and seminars.

Required Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or University degree in educational pedagogy, Media Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience working in a teaching and/or production environment in media technology.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching or training experience with qualifications delivery in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in professional electronic publishing, imaging, and pre-press software.
• Ability to teach various subfields within media technology and design.
