Role: Digital Design/Computer Science Teacher
We seek an enthusiastic and skilled Digital Design/Computer Science Teacher to guide students in developing computational thinking, coding skills, and digital literacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and digital design, along with a passion for integrating cutting-edge technology into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover computer science, coding, and digital design principles.
- Introduce students to software development, programming languages, and digital media tools.
- Foster a problem-solving mindset by guiding students through hands-on projects and real-world applications.
- Encourage innovation and creativity in digital design, app development, and multimedia production.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support diverse learning needs.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that incorporate technology across subjects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, or a related field.
- A PGCE, PGDE, QTS, or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification in the relevant subject area.
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience (preferred).
- Experience teaching the IB curriculum is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- A passion for technology-driven education and student engagement.
