Role: DP Biology Teacher
As a DP Biology Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous IB DP Biology lessons that emphasize scientific inquiry and hands-on experimentation
- Develop innovative lesson plans aligned with the IBDP framework, fostering analytical and research skills
- Utilize modern laboratory techniques to enhance practical learning experiences
- Encourage students to explore real-world biological concepts, from genetics to environmental sustainability
- Assess student progress using diverse evaluation methods
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment for students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance interdisciplinary learning and participate in school-wide initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on IB teaching methodologies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in an IB-accredited school
- Experience with IB DP Biology curriculum (preferred)
- Strong passion for fostering scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation
- Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teaching
