Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher, you will lead young learners through engaging, play-based, and inquiry-driven lessons. You will design developmentally appropriate experiences that build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning. Your role will focus on fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver interactive lessons aligned with early childhood best practices
- Support cognitive, emotional, and physical development through structured play
- Use formative assessments to guide and differentiate instruction
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and thematic planning
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning activities effectively
- Communicate regularly with parents to support student growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, EYTS, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching young learners
- Familiarity with international curricula (IB PYP, IPC, Reggio Emilia, etc.)
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Enthusiastic, reflective, and collaborative educator
