This school is based in Istanbul, Turkey and is looking for a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Classroom Activities: Assist the lead teacher in creating and implementing engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
  • Student Supervision: Supervise and ensure the safety of children during class activities, outdoor play, and other school events.
  • Individualized Support: Provide individualized attention and support to students to foster their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Educational Technology: Utilize educational technologies, including smart boards, to enhance learning experiences.
  • Classroom Management: Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education practices.

 

Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Graduate of Child Development from high schools or Preschool Teaching from Vocational Schools.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Military Service: For male candidates, military service must be completed or deferred for at least 2 years.
  • Passion for Teaching: A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and adapt to collaborative teaching environments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and their parents.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using educational technology and smart boards in the classroom.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Enthusiastic about creating and implementing new teaching materials and activities.
