This school is based in Amman, Jordan and is looking for a Kindergarten Teacher.

Overview:

The Little Academy in Jordan is seeking a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and supportive environment that fosters the cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children. Your role will involve developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, engaging children in interactive activities, and building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preschool curriculum that promotes early childhood development.
  • Plan and conduct engaging and age-appropriate activities that stimulate children’s intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children’s curiosity and love for learning.
  • Monitor and assess each child’s progress, providing individualized support and guidance where needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring the health and safety of all children.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about their children’s progress and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational community.
  • Incorporate educational technology and hands-on materials to enhance learning experiences.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Encourage positive behavior and social skills through structured activities and play.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification in early childhood education.
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Ability to create a warm and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and staff.
