Position Overview:

As a Preschool Teacher at Singapore School Manila, you will play a pivotal role in providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and preparing children for academic success in their formative years.

Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Implementation: Develop and execute lesson plans based on the school’s curriculum framework, incorporating play-based learning activities to promote holistic development.
  2. Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, respected, and valued, while maintaining discipline and promoting positive behavior.
  3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate children’s progress and developmental milestones, providing feedback to parents and stakeholders as needed.
  4. Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s development, milestones, and any concerns or achievements.
  5. Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and incorporate new methodologies into teaching practices.
  6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment and contribute to the overall success of the preschool program.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching certification/license.
  • Proven experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
