About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Economics and Business Teacher with experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level syllabi at KS4 and KS5. The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging, rigorous lessons in Economics and Business.
- Inspire critical thinking and a lifelong interest in economic and business concepts.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external assessments with a track record of academic success.
- Monitor student progress closely and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and improve curriculum delivery.
- Contribute actively to co-curricular programmes and the wider school life.
Requirements
- A degree in Economics or a related field is essential; a PGCE or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Economics at KS4 and KS5 in a British or international school setting.
- Familiarity with the CIE syllabus at both IGCSE and A-Level is highly desirable.
- Ability to teach Business Studies at KS4 and/or KS5 is a distinct advantage.
- Experience delivering BTEC Business (Level 2) would be beneficial.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
- A collaborative teaching approach and commitment to professional development.
