Position: Elementary Counselor
As an Elementary Counselor, you will:
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social and emotional development.
- Implement programs that promote mental well-being, resilience, and positive behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to address student concerns and ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Develop strategies to help students manage stress, build confidence, and improve interpersonal skills.
- Assist in conflict resolution and peer mediation to foster a harmonious school culture.
- Identify students who may need additional support and provide appropriate interventions and referrals.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- A valid certification in school counseling.
- Experience working as a school counselor, particularly in an elementary setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for student success and well-being.
