Role Overview
As an Elementary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective English Language Arts lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum. You will foster reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills while creating a supportive and motivating classroom environment. The role requires collaboration with colleagues to develop curriculum initiatives, support individual student growth, and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging English lessons that meet Ontario curriculum standards.
- Support literacy development across reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Provide regular feedback to students and maintain strong communication with parents.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, OCT, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with international or Ontario curricula.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Enthusiasm for teaching in a diverse international school environment.
