The IGCSE Cambridge Curriculum is implemented in all subjects with Teachers tailoring the Programme to suit students of all abilities and learning styles. The lower secondary curriculum is designed to integrate seamlessly with the middle school to include knowledge, skills, understanding and application.

Technology is an integrated part of the curriculum and students will use their devices during lessons alongside traditional learning methodologies and interactive group work.

CIE A Levels is one of the most recognized qualifications and is accepted as proof of academic ability for entry into Universities worldwide.

HIBS has been successfully teaching the Cambridge IGCSE programme, an internationally recognized academic syllabus covering a wide range of subjects.

Job Description: ·

• To prepare and implement the IGCSE Cambridge curriculum for students with the goal of helping them to develop confidence and proficiency in the subject,
• Prepare class learning materials, lesson plans and schemes of work, assignments, quizzes, assessments, tests, and examinations.
• Mark and assess students’ assignments, tests and examination scripts.
• Participate in special school events
• To maintain records and documentation of each student’s learning and progress in line with the school’s assessment policy.
• Adhere to school rules, policies and department requirements.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Education/ Teaching or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years teaching experience.
• Ability to teach more than one of the stated subjects is an added advantage.
• Applicant should be an energetic, creative and progressive-minded teaching professional with a strong drive to achieve excellence.
• Applicant should be familiar with the Cambridge IGCSE programme
• Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
