About Ipeka Integrated Christian School

Founded in 1999, Ipeka Integrated Christian School (IICS) is the 9th school in our network, created with the mission to provide an international standard of education to Indonesian students. We serve over 1,000 students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, offering a curriculum that promotes both academic excellence and personal growth. At IICS, English serves as the primary medium of instruction, and students also learn Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia.

Our curriculum follows the Australian standards for Kindergarten through Grade 9, with pre-IBDP offerings for Grade 10 and full IBDP for Grades 11-12. IICS is proud to hold joint accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), ensuring that we meet international educational standards and provide a high-quality learning environment.

Role: English Teacher

As an English Teacher at Ipeka Integrated Christian School, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons that help students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for literature.
• Integrate the curriculum with the school’s international standards, ensuring that lessons are aligned with educational goals and promote student success.
• Encourage students to express themselves clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices and stay up-to-date with educational trends.
• Promote the core values of Ipeka Integrated Christian School, integrating a Christian worldview into all aspects of teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• A valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• A minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience in English.
• Experience with international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, or Pearson is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in an inclusive, dynamic learning environment.
• Passion for working in a diverse international school community.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
• High proficiency in both spoken and written English.
