Position: English Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IGCSE English and English as an Additional Language (EAL) following the British curriculum.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that support diverse student needs.
- Implement effective teaching strategies to enhance reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.
- Stay updated with best practices in English language instruction through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English.
- Experience with IGCSE curriculum and EAL instruction.
- Passion for student-centered learning and literacy development.
- Strong ability to integrate technology and interactive learning strategies.
