Role: DP English Teacher

As a DP English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging IB DP English lessons that enhance students’ literary analysis, writing, and communication skills
• Develop innovative lesson plans aligned with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) framework
• Foster students’ critical thinking and appreciation for literature through dynamic discussions and project-based learning
• Provide personalized support to help students succeed in their IB assessments and university applications
• Assess student progress using a variety of evaluation methods
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports students of diverse backgrounds
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on IB education trends

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in an IB-accredited school
• Experience with IB DP English curriculum (preferred)
• Strong passion for fostering analytical thinking, creativity, and a love for literature in students
• Commitment to professional development and collaborative teaching
