Role: MYP/DP English Language & Literature Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Teach IB MYP and DP English Language & Literature, delivering engaging and interactive lessons aligned with IB educational principles.
• Develop dynamic lesson plans and resources, ensuring they meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student performance using a variety of methods, including assignments, essays, presentations, and exams.
• Encourage critical thinking, literary analysis, and effective communication through discussions, debates, and creative writing projects.
• Guide students through internal and external assessments, including coursework and IB exams.
• Foster global perspectives by incorporating multicultural literature and international themes.
• Promote collaborative learning by leading group projects and interdisciplinary activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB curriculum.
• Experience working with diverse, multilingual student populations.
• Strong commitment to student development, creativity, and academic excellence.
