Position: Elementary School Learning Support Teacher

As an ES Learning Support Teacher at AIS-R, you will:

• Provide individualized and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and implement inclusive teaching strategies.
• Develop and implement intervention plans, using data-driven methods to track student progress.
• Work closely with parents, counselors, and educational specialists to create personalized learning experiences.
• Use evidence-based teaching techniques to support students with learning differences, such as dyslexia, ADHD, and processing disorders.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes confidence, independence, and academic growth.
• Contribute to the school’s special education initiatives, professional development programs, and student success strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Learning Support, or a related field.
• A valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent certification).
• Experience supporting students with learning differences in an inclusive classroom setting.
• A deep understanding of differentiated instruction, intervention strategies, and assessment tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and families.
• A passion for creating inclusive, student-centered learning experiences.
• A commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning in the field of special education.
