Position: Female Biology Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well-structured Biology lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
- Foster critical thinking and scientific inquiry in students through hands-on experiments and interactive teaching methods.
- Use differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs and ensure academic success for all students.
- Incorporate technology, lab work, and real-world applications to enhance students’ understanding of biological concepts.
- Encourage a love for science by integrating ecology, genetics, anatomy, and biochemistry into the curriculum.
- Guide students in science projects, research assignments, and extracurricular activities related to STEM.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to help students excel.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to foster a supportive educational environment.
- Contribute to the school community through co-curricular activities, mentorship programs, and science clubs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent certification).
- Proven experience teaching Biology at secondary school level, preferably in an IB or international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of scientific principles, laboratory safety, and curriculum development.
- Ability to inspire and challenge students to explore advanced biological concepts.
- Passion for creating an inclusive, engaging, and student-focused learning environment.
