Role: Female Secondary Humanities Teacher

As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping students’ understanding of history, geography, and social sciences. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that align with the English National Curriculum.
• Encouraging critical thinking, analysis, and debate in humanities subjects.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support learning.
• Designing creative lesson plans that connect historical and social concepts to real-world situations.
• Creating a student-centered classroom that fosters discussion, inquiry, and independent research.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Humanities department’s curriculum and teaching methods.
• Supporting students in their academic and personal development through mentoring and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, preferably British-qualified).
• Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level (KS3–KS5).
• A passion for education and a strong commitment to student engagement and success.
• Ability to create inclusive and innovative learning experiences that inspire students.
• Strong collaboration skills and dedication to professional growth.
