Role Overview

As a French MFL Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging French lessons across various year levels
• Promoting oral and written fluency through interactive teaching strategies
• Encouraging cultural appreciation and a love for learning languages
• Monitoring student progress and providing tailored feedback
• Participating in language events, school activities, and professional development
• Collaborating with colleagues to align instruction with curriculum goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Modern Languages, or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of classroom experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with the British Curriculum and international school settings
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• High level of proficiency in both French and English
• Strong commitment to student development and continuous improvement
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Confidence using digital tools to support learning outcomes
