Role Overview: Global Perspectives Teacher
We are looking for an educator who can confidently deliver Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Global Perspectives. The ideal candidate brings an interdisciplinary teaching style that encourages critical analysis, research, and reflection on global issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging Global Perspectives lessons for IGCSE and/or A-Level
- Promote skills in research, analysis, communication, and collaboration
- Design real-world assessments that foster inquiry and reflection
- Guide students in project work and independent investigations
- Encourage respectful debate and diverse viewpoints
- Participate actively in school life, meetings, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international or Cambridge school
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Global Perspectives curriculum
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Initiative and drive to contribute to school-wide learning initiatives
