Role: Head of Primary
As Head of Primary, you will provide strategic and instructional leadership to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement across all year groups. You will lead by example, support staff development, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Primary School, ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery and academic achievement.
- Mentor, support, and evaluate teaching staff to enhance professional performance.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture.
- Implement data-driven strategies to track and improve student progress.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align with school goals and GEMS Education values.
- Build strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.
- Promote innovation and the integration of digital learning tools.
Qualifications and Requirements
- B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role within a British curriculum school.
- Proven track record of driving school improvement and raising attainment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of the National Curriculum for England.
- Passion for staff development and whole-school success.
- Commitment to inclusion, student wellbeing, and continuous professional development.
