Role Overview: High School Art Teacher
As the High School Art Teacher at Al-Bayan Bilingual School, your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching a wide range of art subjects, including Foundations of Art, Multicultural Art, and Intro to Architectural Drawing to students in grades 9 through 12.
- Encouraging creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation among students.
- Providing constructive feedback and helping students develop their artistic skills and portfolios.
- Incorporating modern technology to enhance art instruction and engage students in innovative ways.
- Maintaining excellent classroom management to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to a well-rounded academic program.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Art or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, including instruction in Foundations of Art, Multicultural Art, and Intro to Architectural Drawing for grades 9-12.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in diverse learning environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with other faculty members.
- A solid understanding of technology integration into art education, including tools like graphic design software and digital drawing techniques.
