Position: High School Art Teacher
As a High School Art Teacher, you will:
- Teach engaging and interactive art lessons that develop creativity and artistic skills
- Incorporate various art techniques, digital tools, and multimedia projects
- Foster an environment that encourages artistic expression and critical thinking
- Guide students in building portfolios for university applications
- Organize student exhibitions and showcase artwork in school events
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate arts into interdisciplinary learning
- Encourage students to explore different art styles, history, and cultural influences
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (Alberta Teaching Certificate preferred)
- Proven experience in teaching high school art
- Strong commitment to student success and engagement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Native English speakers preferred
