Role Overview: High School Arts Teacher
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Arts Teacher to join our high school department. You will teach visual arts and design courses, helping students explore their creativity and build strong portfolios for university applications. The ideal candidate will be confident in using diverse artistic mediums and integrating technology into the arts curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging visual arts lessons for high school students
- Foster creative thinking and artistic expression across all grade levels
- Encourage students to explore techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital design
- Guide students in developing portfolios for international university applications
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-disciplinary projects and exhibitions
- Organize and promote student artwork through school events and displays
- Provide regular feedback and support individual student growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of experience teaching high school art
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Familiarity with international programs such as IB, IGCSE, or AP is a plus
- Proficiency in integrating digital tools into the art curriculum
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
